Wesley Arthur Brink

Wesley Arthur Brink, 84, of Belleville, IL, formerly

of Hoyleton, IL, born August 25, 1922, in Harviell,

MO, passed into God's hands Friday, June 8, 2007,

at Rosewood Care Center, Swansea, IL, surrounded

by his family.

Mr. Brink was a retired truck driver employed by

Husmann and Roper Freight Lines and, later, by

Central Wisconsin Freight Company. He served on

the Volunteer Fire Department of Hoyleton, IL. Mr.

Brink was a member of Union United Methodist

Church, Belleville, IL. He was a World War II U.S.

Army veteran, serving in the South Pacific.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and

Lydia, nee Uphoff, Brink; a brother Raymond in

infancy; three brothers, Howard, Irvin, and

Clarence Brink; and a great-niece, Kristine Brink.

Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Muriel, nee

Peithman, Brink, whom he married July 13, 1946;

a son and daughter-in-law, Richard Wesley and

Lisandra Brink of O'Fallon, IL;

two granddaughters, Jessica Renae and Amanda

Rose Brink.
